The food and people at Tacorea were awesome. Always a great experience and good vibe - sad to see it's closed.

This place doesn't have much seating so I usually take it to-go. Everytime I came here, I usually ordered my meals with the Korean meats which I recommend. Complimentary chips and salsa come with the meal. This time, I doordashed the kimchi burrito with the mamas spicy marinated pork and the quesadillas with the spicy marinated pork. I definitely enjoyed the quesadillas more especially with the salsa. For the kimchi burrito, I wanted it to order it wet, but the option was not available on the doordash app. I definitely will order it there so I can eat it on the spot. It is definitely very filling and tasty.

The end of an era. A bit ago, Tacorea announced they would officially be closing in SF so I was able to visit them on their very last day within 15 min of their final hours. Typically my go to order has always been a California burrito, sub bulgogi instead of Kanye asada. Due to limited available ingredients, they only had asada California burritos available, which I ordered wet with a Jarritos. First off, the burrito is huge. On top of that, it's well loaded with a proper portion of ingredients. I rarely ever get wet burritos but this time, it seemed right. The salsa on top was flavorful with a mild heat. Chip accompanied the burrito and dipped perfectly in both the salsa and chunks of burrito that fell off while eating. Even though it was Tacorea's final moment of being open, the energy inside seemed very positive. The staff was energetic around all the customers and still ensured a high quality of service was available. Thank you Tacorea for the 5+ years I've had the opportunity of enjoying you!

Came here on a weekday, just a few minutes after opening. We just beat the dinner rush and managed to get some seats, which there aren't many of inside. Just a few minutes after getting to our seats, we saw the dinner crowd beginning to really line up. This place has a lot of great looking options, and I went for the California Burrito. I'd been craving some tater tots so this felt like a good choice. The burrito itself was great, with a healthy amount of those tater tots, meat, and guacamole in each bite with everything blending well together. I also had a bite of the kimchi burrito. Until then, I didn't know how much I'd enjoy kimchi fried rice in burrito form which probably indicates how much I like those 2 foods. You'll leave satisfied by the burrito size and side of chips. Overall, the burritos were good and Tacorea was definitely worth checking out.

Farewell Tacorea. :'( I saw on Reddit that they were closing this week, so of course I had to go out with a big bang and do a large lunch order to show them some goodbye lovin'. CALIFORNIA BURRITOS for everyone @ the office! The tater tots add a really nice crunch to the burrito. I actually think I like it more than rice. I hope y'all come back someday. :(

After walking for what felt like hours, we stumbled upon Tacorea by chance (well, by Yelping the nearest place for food). The small restaurant was somewhat uninviting, but the number of people coming in and out was reassuring, so we decided to give it a shot. I ordered the Bulgogi beef tacos. The order was finished fairly quickly, and the NBA playoffs were playing on the two TVs mounted on the walls to keep us busy while we were inside. The food was good! I was a little nervous about my order, as I'm not usually a fan of fusion items, but the Bulgogi wasn't too sweet and tasted great with the "zalza" they provided. Also got a side of tater tots, which I haven't had an a decade. All in all, I was pretty happy with my food. I wouldn't make a special trip out for it, but if I'm in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by again.

If I had to choose a "Best Burrito" in SF it would, hands down, be the California Burrito from Tacorea. (The Breakfast burrito is bomb, too!) Not to mention their salsa is also THE BEST in the city! California burritos are typically not my preference as I'm just not used to a burrito being so huge and full of everything! (I grew up on simple little burritos.) This burrito is full of steak (Kanye Asada), pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and crispy tator tots that truly make this burrito so epic. This restaurant does not skimp on serving size and there's never been a time I've been that the owner is not working along side his employees. Service is always top notch, quick, and super friendly. It's really a neighborhood vibe and I love that. Seating is limited and there's still a parklet outside. There is a fun selection of sodas and beer to choose from and there's a tv that always has sports on. It does get busy during peak times so be prepared to wait in line or take your food to go.

Decent place for takeout / quick bite of Korean/Mexican fusion. Expect burritos / bowls. Food (3/5) - Got the spicy pork bowl. Two others in my party got the wet california burrito and another got the kimchi burrito. My bowel was decent, the egg was just runny enough and the fried edges were crispy. Portion was large, could've made two meals for me, probably. Price (4/5) - Around 15 per dish, pretty decent as far as SF goes. Ambiance / Service (4/5) - Typical taco place, fairly clean, has a bar for sauces, a few high tops and a big booth. They have outdoor seating as well but it didn't seem heated. Staff are friendly, service was pretty fast.

Bulgogi kimchee burrito Sub rice for tots Generous on size Good for 2 meals worth the $15!

Limited seating inside. Bathroom inside kitchen. The Big Ricardo $18 // pricey but huge portions easily enough for 2 meals. It was good! I was not a fan of the sauce on top though, salty and doesn't add depth to the burrito. Salsa was a bit spicy and not good, basically had to just throw the chips away since I don't like it plain. My friend said the kimchi pork burrito is good too.
